Description

The 2019 growing season started out cold and wet but became very hot by mid-late summer. Frequent rain in August and September slowed fruit development, leading to fruit with moderate sugar levels and crisp acidity. As a result, 2019 Oregon Pinot Noirs are structured, elegant, graceful, and lively with unique vintage personality.

The 2019 Cuvée is crafted by blending Pinot Noir from four of our estate vineyard blocks – Block F (Clone 667), Block E (Clone 115), Block G (Pommard and Clone 777), and Block B (Clone 114). Together, the fruit combines to form a Pinot Noir truly representative of Domaine Lumineux. Lush aromatics of soil and damp earth mingle with spice notes of anise and black pepper to introduce the 2019 Cuvée. Flavors of black licorice, cranberry sauce, dried cranberry, raspberry, and currant fill the palate, followed by a satisfying finish.

Domaine Lumineux was known by the name “Domaine de Broglie” from March 2019 until October of 2023.

Domaine Lumineux wines are made exclusively from fruit grown on our 42-acre, LIVE certified, sustainable vineyard located in the Dundee Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
