Description
The 2019 growing season started out cold and wet but became very hot by mid-late summer. Frequent rain in August and September slowed fruit development, leading to fruit with moderate sugar levels and crisp acidity. As a result, 2019 Oregon Pinot Noirs are structured, and elegant – graceful and lively with unique vintage personality.
The aromatic profile of the 2019 Reserve Pinot Noir is rich in minerals, with notes of graphite and flint, complemented by scents of walnut and cedarwood. Fruit comes forward on the palate, with bright red fruits, cherry tart, red licorice, and candy apple coming together in a symphony of flavors. Subtle notes of maple syrup add to the beautiful complexity of this vintage.
