Description
The 2018 crop experienced excellent ripeness and maintained a strong level of natural acidity, making for an exceptionally well-balanced wine that has deep defined color and expansive aromatics. Fruit from several different Pinot Noir clones, including 777, 667, and 115, are blended together contributing to the wine’s balance and complexity. As a result, the wine presents lush, sweet, forward fruit, while also showing intense savory spiciness in the mid palate and fine tannins on the finish. This is a wine that is drinking well already but can also cellar for a long time, making this a very special vintage we are extremely excited about.
The 2018 Domaine de Broglie Cuvée boasts exceptional clarity. Notes of cherry, strawberry, and mulberry dominate while hints of allspice and star anise peek through on the palate. This wine has beautiful silky length that reveals subtle kisses of earth and flower petals on the finish.
