Description
The 2020 growing season remained predominantly warm and dry, giving close to ideal growing conditions. Light and mild rainfall during harvest left the 2020 fruit showing richness and complexity that translates to a distinctive year for Oregon wines.
The 2020 Chardonnay is an extremely balanced Chardonnay with great aromatics and nice acidic tension. The nose is filled with intense Anjou pear that is backed by soft wood, mineral, and flint. The firm acid on the palate meets honeysuckle sweetness and subtle creaminess balanced with the wine’s wood texture. Lush but nicely rounded with just a touch of lemon meringue on the finish.
