Description
The 2019 growing season started out cold and wet but became very hot by mid-late summer. Frequent rain in August and September slowed fruit development, leading to fruit with moderate sugar levels and crisp acidity. As a result, 2019 Oregon Pinot Noirs are structured, and elegant – graceful and lively with unique vintage personality.
Upon opening the 2019 Domaine de Broglie Pommard Clone Pinot Noir, one is greeted by scents of bright strawberry, eucalyptus, and coriander spice. Expansive flavors of deep raspberry, marionberry, lush, red fruits, and currant play out with a full mouthfeel on the palate. This is a delicious, fruit-intensive wine that is a pure delight.
